ST30 price - educated guesses

from the ST30 price thread I know it's selling around 90K (with once 'claim', of 80K). For ppl who know about this stuff, any educated guesses how long would it be before one can expect ST30 price to drop down to around 60K-70K.

i guess the downside to this is it will be 1 year warranty . Dealers I spoke to mentioned 3 years Warranty is till 25 or so only, while one mentioned (Rajajinagar panasonic) it will be 3 years even after.
1 year is a BIG, NO THANKS!!!

Just buy off Samsung 51D550. Its available now for 64k with 2 3D glasses. It is very very good and has gr8 3D.

68k if you carry a cheque as proof of buying intent to the dealer. At least, that was the best offer made to me - with an additional pair of glasses (maybe the 2010 rechargeable model).

i just saw a Panasonic add in the TOI goa. the 50ut30 cost about 90k! and 42ut30 is about 66k! With these prices i dont think the prices for 42 or 50 st30 will fall by much!:sad: since this ut30 series is quite new!! I hope I am wrong!

UT30 is at the lower end of the 3D segment and has a dynamic contrast of 2,00,000:1 only! I guess these are not with Neo PDPs.

And of course, the prices will be lower than indicated in the adverts. Perhaps, not the best TVs to buy at the moment, considering that the ST is available for a few grands more.
