I have 2 situations i am considering.

A stereo amplifier (less than 50w RMS /channel) with 2 bookshelf speakers for the bedroom. Bluetooth must.
or
Active speakers with built-in amp. Bluetooth must

Budget: 25k maximum

Please advise on which option is better and also any recommendations of the products.

It's flexibility vs convenience. Pick what suits you better.

Sent from my Redmi Note 3

I think you buy the Norge cercerto Gold amp and for speakers, you can buy the Wharfedale bookshelf speakers or Sonodyne ....I personally don't like active speakers!

If you want digital IN,, you better buy a DAC . Forget about bluetooth because the sound will be degenerated.

If you are eager to buy active speakers, then I think Bose Acoustimass would be good for bedroom. An Asus Xonar soundcard based PC would a good option to store the data or stream the audio....

I just brought NAD D3020 ( 29K From US, Bluetooth with Aptx, Optical, 30 w/ch )
also this monday brought wharfedale diamond 225 (27.2k ) from hifiart for bedroom.

Very happy with the setup.

I also started with same requirement as you, active speaker with bluetooth, after going through number of forums and reviews of active speaker, I made a mind to go for amp + speaker way.

If you want to go for active speaker check audioengine a2+, audioengine a5+, audioengine hd3 ( wireless ), they have some good reviews, however getting them here in your budget will be problem.

There is an Elac B6 listed for 22K in hifiads.com. Also, another FM has listed Topping amplifier for 4.5K. Add chromecast to it for 3K. For 30K, you should be set with an excellent system if you want to compromise on bluetooth.
Chromecast should be good enough if it isn't for critical listening and B6 are very good for value for money at 22K. Just a thought to consider.

I have to go much higher on the active line to get good quality output in the bedroom.
I reviewed the stereo amps like NORGE, Topping etc and also checked on ebay too. Would it be a good idea to buy from ebay? Hard to tell from the listing if the used high quality amps would last even a year?
It is a good problem to have i guess with various options to check but muddies the field big time.
