Suggest Best 22" IPS PC Monitor for Movie Watching

Hi,

Please suggest best 22 inch IPS monitor for Movie Watching.

Expecting IPS is for different viewing angle like watching movies sitting/lying on the floor.

It should have HDMI port (to connect my Asus O Play mini) and audio out from monitor. (In built speakers are not that important)

Budget Max 12k

I have both ViewSonic and Dell and don't find much difference between both (though Dell is comparatively expensive).

@musicbee : I am more inclined towards ViewSonic after reading good reviews all over the internet. The model you are using is of IPS one ?

I'm using an LCD/LED panel. Not sure if its IPS. The PQ is excellent and many times I feel better than my 50" plasma. Difference between a 720P and 1080P rip is very easily evident in this monitor... not so much in the plasma, but maybe viewing distance has something to do with it.

The model I'm using is VX2250WM-LED

Close your eyes and get the AOC. Nothing else is close to the picture quality of that lcd for the price.

Narrowed down to this two : (IPS Panel + HDMI Port)

Dont have experience with amazon. 3 Year warranty, what they offer is applicable in India also ?

2) AOC I2353Ph, locally available here at Ritchie St for Rs.11850/-

Lately, I have come to realize that I am looking for a small/bed room LED TV rather than a Computer Monitor.

Sorry to bother you all again.

The unit should be able to

1. works as a PC Monitor to the Desktop (VGA) * Permanent Fix
2. as a Secondary Monitor to the Laptop (VGA or HDMI) * as and when required
3. connect the Asus Media Player to play Movies (RCA or HDMI) * No CPU On
4. connect the external speakers directly to the unit * No CPU On

So looking for a TV not to use as a TV

Size : 22" - Budget - < Rs. 15,000/-

Pl. suggest any best one.
