Suggest Best HT in different Price Brackets

Hi all,
I just bought Panasonic 50 U30 and now thinking of getting a HT system for it. But I don't want to spend more right now as don't have much cash left. So I need some suggestion from you people to recommend best HT system w/o DVD player in different price brackets like:
Under Rs.10,000
From Rs.10,000 to 20,000
From Rs.20,000 to 30,000 and
Above Rs. 30,000 till Rs. 35,000. Not more as I think I would not spend more than that.
One feature I required from it is that it should have HDMI 1.4 audio return channel support. Please suggest...

Onkyo 3400 is the only one that comes to mind where you will get 1.4 ARC

Ok... I was also looking for it. Its for around Rs. 23000 and I need to know is there any better option than this or not.

I don't think so, your budget needs to move into the 40-50K category if you want to jump brackets.

I was quoted these prices for various combos:

AVR 508 + HTS 728 = 47K

AVR 308 + HTS 728 = 40K

AVR 508 only = 26K
AVR 308 only = 25.5K and 22K (2 Different Quotes)

Onkyo 3400 HTIB = 25K > Has since come down by 2-2.5K

Onkyo 308 + Pure Acoustics Dream Nano = 48K

If you are interested sagarvikram from Gurgaon is selling is complete HT package of Yamaha for 40K, check his post, it is a recent package he has built.

To be frank I don't want to spend that much amount right now on HT system. All I need a simple way to get 5.1 effect for my drawing room so that I can enjoy watching HD video and movies by not spending much.

Thanks buddy.. after reading this review only I made my mind for Onkyo S3400. But also thought of getting more suggestion/options if available against it.

Bought the Onkyo HTS-3400 today. No there option was there at this price and quality.
