Suggest me good 40-42 inches TV

I am looking to buy a new tv for my living room. My requirements are;

3D not required
Smart is desirable as I have wifi in my home
Mostly sd/hd viewing. Ocessional movies.
Budget up to 80k.

My preference would be between Sony, Panasonic, Samsung and lg.

I already have a Panasonic plasma in my bedroom and hence want to go for LCD.

Request experts to suggest a good tv with top class pq.

Want to make purchase within a week.

I bought LG 5710, 2 days back and is an amazing piece of technology wid smart functions, high motion rate, ips panel and wifi connectivity; sound is a lil tricky, but am sure wid the right settings u will achieve the best! Worth every penny!

If you want High contrast stick with Sony or samsung.Contrary to what has been said earlier here the 42W650 actually comes with a AU optronics VA panel as verified by HDTVTEST UK.(Earlier members here including me assumed that it had a LG IPS panel.)

Or get the 42W670 from ebay(without warranty for as low as 45k) the difference is that the W670 has built in Wifi.

No idea about the panasonic or LG/

LG Sets do not compare to Samsung or Sony in terms of PQ.

Go for either 42"Sony W650 or 40"Samsung F5500.

Can't go wrong with either

80K is a good budget , i bought a sony 42W800A myself less than a month ago and would suggest the same

Has IPS panel , Smart tv inbuilt nfc and wifi , Passive TV goodness

im really satisfied with it so far
