Suggestion For 2.1 setup (Edifier P5080M Vs F & D A520 )

Planning for a 2.1 setup for music (Rock, metal, trance) & movies ... Max budget of 2.5K ... Am stuck betw these two

F & D A520 has great customer reviews on flipkart, lacks USB playback & treble control .....

Could not find many reviews about this Edifier model P3080M, it can play tracks from USB drive ..

Specs wise both are similar ... however F & D has larger satellites ( 4 inch, 16 W ) Vs edifier satellites (3 inch, 10 W)

Anybody has had experience with both ????

I am using Edifier C2 it's really good. Forget about satellites size, just go for C2 or C3 it is the perfect 2.1 speaker with in budget.
These speakers has separate bass & treble control. It's sounds very bright, clear and crisps bass is very good but not over powered. Moreover a very smooth listening experience.
It's my personal experience.

Most newbies allocate very little budget

jeans 2k , tshirt 900, outing 2000 but speakers 1.2 to 2K ..


rock/remix etc need pretty expensive subwoofer based setup
ear bleeding 2.1s are waste of money ask forum members who has dumped those .
They are well packed china mass produced items .


i will not suggest expensive stuff but you can do little diy
Option 1 )
The EDIFIER/fnd 2.1s use a cheap speaker and a way too crap poly tweeter in satellites ,
these combo is pinching and distorts the sound .

so if you want to have a decent sound replace the satellites with small philips/BPL speakers from old 2in1 system

Option 2)

Dont buy 2.1, you will come to know soon why they are really bad.
Old speakers from sony bpl+ good amp kit
