Suggestion for a Budget Subwoofer for Yamaha YHT196

Any advise where to buy used / new powered subwoofer for Yamaha YHT 196 in Kolkata. My budget is around 10K. Any suggestion outisde Kolkata from where I can ship the same is also welcome.

Sonodyne Roar series has got good reviews in this forum. There is Polk PSW110 also priced around 12K I think. The Astonia subwoofer for 12.5K will be the best for you. It has got positive reviews.

Polk PWS 110 is quoted by ProFX @ 18.5K . Astonia is retailing around 16.4 K on ebay. Not sure about sonodyne. Can you please help me with the contact details / shop in kolkata where i can pick up any one of them at the mentioned price.

The price of Polk psw110 has increased recently and now is around 18K and so the price of Astonia has reached 16K.

Even the price of sonodyne roar sw has increased too. But you can get 20% discount on exchange of your old audio product.

Thanks for all the details. Due to budget constraint , I am planning to go for sonodyne roarr 108 for my yamaha YHT196 HTiB. Is this worth an upgrade from Yamaha stock sub . Will the sonodyne 108 perform better than the passive stock sub. Also need expert opinion if this will also help in improving the mid and highs of the front / center speakers.
