I have a BluRay player and existing speakers from my old HT.

But NOT looking for features like WiFi, iPod docking, etc

Shoul have atleast the following features:

4-5 HDMI Inputs and 2 HDMI Outputs
If possible FM should have Receiver too
Some USB ports too

It is HTiB. You will get few HTiB within 20-25K. But getting a decent avr within 15-20K is not possible. If you increase your budget to 25K, you will have few more options.

However, you can get some good deals for pre used avrs. Keep your eyes on the sale section of this forum.

Am not sure if you would get a brand new AVR for 15 -20K... You might need to push the budget a little more...

If you can live with Optical & Co-axial inputs in the AVR then you can find used non HDMI AVR easily for 10 - 15K....

If you need HDMI, then you need to look for used ones only...

You may want to check Pionner AVR's (VSX series)... You should get one for 20K...

Please share the details of your current HT system. You can get the Pioneer HTP 071 for around 20k, it is not an avr but a Htib package with a receiver and speakers. if you can't go beyond 20k then I suggest you get this or the Yamaha YHT 196. major difference between the yammy and the pioneer set is that the yamaha doesn't do HD Audio while the Pioneer does. visit a nearby dealer and audition these two systems so you can see if you can prefer to go this way. But If you really want an AVR then you'll have to stretch your budget to 25k or more.

Couldn't find a single model of Pioneer or Marantz on display atleast in Vijay Sales. (They have only Sony, Samsung on display :sad

It comes for around 23K (didn't bargain as I hadn't finalized on the Product)

Are u looking for a Home theater or just an AV receiver for your home theater

In-case your looking for a decent amp check the pioneer 523k
