Suggestion for Receiver for Bose Acoustimass 6

I bought a Bose Acoustimass 6 from US(The factory refurbished one for a steller price 360$!!!The actual one costs 700$).... Any suggestions for a suitable amplifier for that?

It should have it own built-in amplifier. Did it come with the manual? Please read it. If not, download from bose.com.

It doesnt come with built in AMP....the website says it needs a amp..

visit the Bose stores at Skywalk / Nungabakkam, check the AVR they are using to power up the AM6 and decide. The AM6 uve got should require 110V, if so get a good step down unit which can handle the Sub's output.

Ive seen most Bose stores use Onkyo...

You can use any AVR that delivers 75W (RMS) to 120W (RMS) power per channel.

Thanks all..finaly setup HT... AM6 with Yamaha RX-V371....spent two days setting the configurations correct on the blu-ray player/V371 and the AM6....am letting the bitstream from bluray to receiver letting receiver decode it.....pretty dissatisfied with AM6..i was blown away by the companion 2 (99$ speakers for PC) and hence when i got a good deal for AM6 in US got it and brought it here...the bass module is a huge disappointment....have been shifting it here and thr to get something out of it....it seemed to miss most of bas effect..just the 'rumble' vibrations only i seem to get....the bass is not crispier ......the set as such is good for movies only..for music CDs(2.1 into 5.1) it is utter waste...kind of now stuck with it :-( ....

pretty normal thing..........bose speakers are too pricey for the actual material they deliver
