Hi,

The area where i live in Chennai doesnt have much power fluctuations. I havent seen any damages due to surges as well. (i have a VGuard protecting my refridgerator).

Considering this, would it be better to invest in Belkin surge protector rather than a stabiliser? My LED TV has input voltage range from 100V to 240 V... so wouldnt a surge protector be better than a voltage stabiliser?
Later i might add a basic Home Theater as well.

you should not take chances with expensive TVs,but if it a budget TV,then surge protector is ok.sollatek TV guard is a good option,it cut voltage above 265 volt and low voltage at 140v.it is priced around Rs 1200,is better than a surge protector.
