Tata Docomo or Don't come near me?

From my experience with Tata jokers, for my broadband connectivity at home, I strongly recommend this company for an award as the most unreliable, least efficient and totally customer unfriendly company. Their Cochin office in particular. I have never seen anything worse than this company's service and support.

As far as my experience goes all ISPs are same they all are inefficient money launderers with almost no service support........

In the race to provide the cheapest call rates and data tariffs, all TSP are basically at the bottom end with respect to quality of service and service infrastructure.

Dedicated ISPs (having wired infrastructure) are order of magnitude better. They don't have steady revenues from mobile junta, so they have to offer good services.

I use MTNL broad-band and have no-issues till date. Even if I face issues once in a blue moon its rectified within an hour. Full marks to MTNL on this.:clapping:

TATA Docomo particularly are cheats of the first order. Just see what is written of the carton containing the Photon Max device (It claims 9MBPS+) and see for yourself what speed you get. And when you complain, these "GENTLEMEN" have cheeks to say that we promise 512 KBPS only............LOL.

these guys are not into telecom.

Actually Reliance broadband worked pretty good for me in the past. (even though they are telecom guys)

Spectranet given me connection with 15days free offer yesterday. I measured it with incoming wire using speedtest.net. Good speed 20Mbps download /10Mbps upload
Installed WiFi/LAN router, speed read 1/4 of initial. Now still 1 MB download takes 1 min .

TOday morning its off...
Immediately started back my BSNL.

here where i reside (Hari ji's location), i have MTNL as well as a pvt. ISP, both giving good service. recently got the connection from the pvt. ISP. so far so good (a society co-resident was happy with it, as well as had read reviews prior getting the connection). the name's Honesty Net Solutions (bandwidth-provider), while the LCO is Dolphin Infonet/1&1 broadband.

other pvt. ISPs which are known to give good plans, promised speeds and good service, are beam telecom (which supposedly brought airtel to its knees in Hyderabad; their new venture in Bengaluru isn't said to be that good), siti and alliance broadband in Kolkata.

though spectranet (if am not wrong in assuming its the same ISP which am thinking) gives good plans and decent service here at Powai, Vikhroli, etc. areas. this was 2-3 years back. don't know about now.

@Murali , can you elaborate your issues? And setup? I am using tata wired broadband too, 2 mbps unltd plan @ 1499/- + tax( no fup).
I had frequent disconnection issues too and lower level guys from tata and their local service guys were quick to lay blame on my router and modem. Whereas the actual issue was with telephone wiring. It was damaged at few places, replacing the wire rectified the issue.
I suggest you take it up with level 3/4/5 people. If you need any contact details let me know.
