Hi there.I recntly aquired used TT Technics SL BD22.
Sound from one channel is very low.Can some body suggest me how to fix this?

My brother uses this TT. Its a decent entry level TT. First, check if your stylus is ok, If it is, you need to run a check on the cabling to your amplifier. Start with checking the amp itself by interchanging the channels. If the low volume sound switches to the other channel, then the amp is ok, if not, its the amp. Usually this happens due to bad contact so check the amp input sockets for contact issues. You will then need to check the TT's cabling and plugs to the amp. If all this is ok, then check the wiring to the cartridge.

Sometimes even if you switch the RCA cables, both channels may sound equal. You try that also along with the good advice given by ruebensm. It can also be due to a weak cartridge or the connecting wires in the head shell touching each other.

A beautiful, well-constructed speaker with class-leading soundstage, imaging and bass that is fast, deep, and precise.
