Thin yellow line on Panasonic plasma

Hi,
I got a thin yellowish line on my panasonic plasma st30 which is less than 2 months old. It was working fine and it came when I switched on the TV test night. When I googled I saw posts mentioning about a panel issue. I just called the customer care and they will be sending an engineer tomm. Keeping my fingers crossed :sad:.

can u share some pics...? Is this happening for all sources like DTH, USB vedio, etc?

Check if this line persists when using multiple sources- DVD , STB etc. In case so then there is a problem with the panel. Call up Panasonic , they will replace your TV with a new one.

Faced a similar issue after 1 year of purchase on my Pana VT20 . Thankfully TV was under 3 year warranty. Panasonic guys gave me a new set.

Yes its with all sources.Since its yellow, it appears black and very evident on Tatasky blue background. I called up Panasonic and the engineer is expected today evening. Hope its gets resolved.

I have 2 updates
Update 1: Panasonic engineer came and took some pictures and told they will provide a replacement after approval. Again another person came and took few more pics and opened the Tv and noted down the panel number.
Update 2: The thin yellow line became a thick black bar( around 1.5" width) since today morning the TV is not watchable now :annoyed:

Hope it gets replaced soon!!!

They had opened back panel cover for its serial number in my case too.
It should get replaced although it will take some time (took about 1 month for me). Have they taken pics of thick bar? If not escalate this and mention TV is not watchable and you need immediate replacement.
