Ported, closed-baffle speakers are the mainstream and home audio listening has been this way for decades. There is a stereophonic soundstage and a "sweet spot". Nothing wrong with something that worked for so long. You see, I'm wondering if all these ported speakers have that sameness? It would be nice to have more 3D presentation with tech like Spatial Audio. More immersive and life like.

Curious to know about new-age speakers that think out of the box, literally and metaphorically. Something like Ohm's Walsh

Another new tech is the Kii Three with DSP, Active speaker tech. I'm also reminded of Magnepan Electrostatics. I also heard about 741 Audio, Hyderabad.
Any other interesting speakers that are unique?

Pure audio project speakers. They are some of the best open baffle speakers I have heard. Many options to suit budgets and tonality. Outstanding balance of various standards that define a great speaker.

Most speakers from Linkwitz Lab. They are the quintessential "out of the box" speaker maker out there. Path breaking designs and highly respected among the circles. The Orion 3 in the pic below.

Till date, leaving cost out, the best I have heard in a very large space was in a massive bungalow (what is called palace in the gulf) in Dubai. It was the original Infinity IRS series built by Arnie Nudell. Breathtaking to say the least in terms of dynamics, scale and musicality.
