Those who are waiting for Christmas ,new year better buy it now since most of these companies such as Sony,toshiba,nikon and honda etc have their facilities both manufacturing and distribution centers submerged.So the prices or stocks are going to go up or depleted respectively.Thailand is where these companies import their products from fully built or parts.

Already we can see the effect on new Sony cameras launches,Honda cars ever increasing waiting period.

you live near a massive volcano called "telegana", no power, blocked streets,people getting beaten up!!:sad: will not know the extent of the damage if it blows up!!!(should never happen)

There was plenty of floods in india,just that its not reported that much since its mostly the villages and agricultural fields that are flooded.

There was massive flooding here in karnataka a few years ago.
But agree on the lazy part.

I don't understand why manufactures need to set up those huge facilities in a low lying area and in japan some one had a bright idea of putting a Nuclear power plant right next to ocean..

A lot of Toshiba TV's are manufactured at their Indonesia plant so I don't think will have much impact on Toshiba TV's.
