Hi All,

I am in the market to buy a new TV, 75 inch...already an owner of 55 inch LG C9.

My budget is around 1.5L (was 2.5 earlier and was getting a 75 inch bravia 7 for 2.3 but wife didnt agree 😅). Out of all the options I have seen I have narrowed down to 2 -

1. Samsung q80D
2. TCL c755

TCL c755 I can get for 1.2-1.3K...the picture is bright because its a mini-led but colors didnt have a lot of depth...dont know if its something that can be fixed in settings

The samsung has good reviews on web...will be going to a brand store today to check it out...currently its quoted at 1.75...the croma sales person is saying it will come down further this weekend..so probably will get it for 1.5-1.6L

And have another deal for an X90L for 1.5L but its a 6 months old display unit. Worth considering ? I know it has a really good picture quality.

Looking for your advice

Q80d seems okayish ? Do demo it with samples that you will watch( also check ease of OS) ,ADS panel ig if you feel okay then yes

TCL despite being stronger specwise , has poor quality control (evident with lot of returns, panel replacement request within a year) and imo not worth taking risks after spending a lakh

X90l 75 at 1.5 is reasonable for a new unit, definitely not for a display piece. If you are okay ask for 2 yr extended warranty free of cost on top of standard 3yr warranty then it would be a fair deal.

Assuming you are upgrading your 55 inch oled with a budget of about 1.5L why not get a 65 inch oled instead of these 75 midrange leds ?

Hey, thanks for your advice...unfortunately the size of our living room calls for a 75 inch tv....Decided to get a Bravia 7...got a really good deal for 2.14L for 75 inch...bought it yesterday
