on that budget u will get panasonic and samasung full hd 40 inch plasmas also.in fact at a much lower cost than ur budget:licklips:like at 38k.....
and toshiba 40 inch full hd lcd are good value for money...can buy it..one of my friend using it last 2 years without complain...cant say about picture quality though...
and 45 is a good budget.who says there is no other option...basic full hd lcds from sammy and sony are also avilable......check local showrooms and online sellerr sites
for a bigger display plasma is the best in picture quality....however it has got its disadvantages also..read those..if u can live with those no tv can challlenge the picture quality of a plasma panel........
rest ur decision..one thing pls demo in showrooms side by side...lcd/led..lcd...plasma all with same channel or same files..fiiles shd be very high quality....happy hunt

Hi!

I am using a Toshiba 40PB20 since last 2 weeks on Tata Sky+ HD, and am pretty happy using it. Already have a Panasonic 50VT20D in the Family and don't find anything missing on PQ when I compare given the Price Difference - I'd say the Toshiba is worth every rupee spent on it.

Pros: 3 Yr Wty, 1080p, 28+ Video Formats Compatibility :clapping: - I have a Hard Disk permanently wired to it :) The cons could be Limited AV connectivity options (only 2 HDMI, One 3.5mm Stereo Out, No Optical In, etc,)

Just one last fact, Toshiba is "Made in India" by Dixon (Weston)!
That Doesn't bother me.. it may bother some! (Panny was Made in Japan with 3 yrs Wty too!)

I'd encourage you to go try out a Demo.

Cheers!

good for sure ,

i have a UL series toshiba LED for 1.3years .it is good , how ever if you are not a showroom lover .. i know people who will get you
new shiny samsung 40 LEd from EH series in 36k

show rooms sale that in 51

FYI friends 40PB20 model is not full HD (1080) as mentioned . In Toshiba Indian website it is given as 1366 X 768 resolution .. You can check that in the comparison section in the below page.. So toshiba is not giving Full HD i.e 1920X1080 in 32" and all 40" models.. !!!

Link: Toshiba

Check the model in the website for resolution details before buying.. :)

As people in TV showrooms simply say "FULL HD" :P

They have completely updated their website... updated their new thinking led models also

I was looking for a 40 inch Full HD Led TV. Found out about Toshiba 40PX200 and am quite impressed with the specs mentioned at a price of around Rs. 46000/- on flipkart. Any first hand reviews on Picure Quality and Performance?? Also how is it in comparison with 40PS20 which costs around 43k?

Guys, I would say one thing. Never get misled by the labels "Made in _____".

I would say never care for where they are made. Denon Home theatre systems (AV receivers) are made in China, but I will not complain anything about the quality. Similary my friend got a Samsung LCD (CFL based) from Dubai in 2006 and till now it works with great PQ, but surprised to see the label on it as "Made in India". As long as it comes from a well known brand, we need not think too much about "Made in ______".

toshiba led pq is comparable to even sony on hd channels, check urself
its really good performer at VFM with 3yrs wrnty
