Travelling to Singapore - Electronic Buy Advice Requested

Hi All,

M travelling to Singapore and need to buy a cell phone Lumia/Iphone.

I may have access to Thailand/Malaysia as my stay is for 2 months.

Are phones cheaper in Singapore. Craigslist got some nice offer, but seems to be unreliable and too good to be true offers.

I will also be going to Singapore and my shopping list is for a Good Hi res 27 inch Computer monitor..... preferably with Touch.

Hopefully when I get there in mid June, 4K monitors will become available at Funan.

Singapore is one of the most expensive places I've traveled to in recent times.
It is not a bargain shoppers paradise by any stretch of imagination.
Prices were more or less at Swiss/Scandinavian country levels which is among the highest.
However I am told that the Chinatown is where some good deals can be had.

Malaysia is much better but again not really very cheap.
Thailand is where you get the best prices although I don't know the situation for electronics.
