Hi everyone

I am looking to buy a 55 inch TV in the range of 50-70k. I think most options closer to 50k would suffice, but if there are very strong "bang-for-the-buck" recommendations at a slight premium, then I am happy to stretch the budget to 70k also.

Here are my thoughts:

1. OLED seems more expensive (please tell if otherwise). QLED / QNED options (with mini LED and all related jargons) seems like a good compromise for the budget and the features
2. Looking for a budget range of ~50k but "bang for buck" is most important. Happy to go higher if the product performance is much better for the price premium
3. Use case is TV for bedroom, so lighting is not an issue (dark curtains in the bedroom). Only for OTT watching (Netflix, Prime, Youtube, etc.). Angles are not a challenge. Gaming is an additional use case but only a good to have. Not needed otherwise. No additional sound setup, so the TV speakers will be main speakers. Can upgrade this in future if needed, so not concerned on this for now.
4. Looking at Hisense based on this article (https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/hisense). This suggests that Hisense has good TVs in mid-range and offers better performance vs Samsung, Sony, LG in non-OLED options.
5. Narrowed down to Hisense U6N Pro (50k) / Q7N (50k) / U7N (Price currentlty unknown). Any comparison and feedback on which to chose between these 3 and which channel (Amazon / Offline) etc. ? And any other suggestion from competing TVs from Samsung / LG / Song or others that need to be considered ?

Thanks for the help!

Some additional thoughts:

1. Went to Croma store today where the salesperson implied that HiSense wasnt selling and thats why they do not keep any units in store. HiSense is only available online (Chroma / Amazon / Flipkart)
2. The salesperson guided me towards Samsung DU7700/8300 (~55k range) or Samsung Q60D (~69k range) suggesting that the premium brands (Samsung, LG, Sony) have better panels at same technology or in other words, at lower technology, they can offer same panel. So QLED of HiSense / TCL / Xiaomi etc. will be similar to LEDs of Samsung / Sony / LG. Anyway, Samsung Q60D is QLED also
3. I understand that salespeople are biased and all that. But what has got me confused on HiSense vs Samsung is the following:
a. After-sales support and other hassles with HiSense vs Samsung
b. Better software support from Samsung vs HiSense for the OS / apps
c. Lack of availability of U7N model (cant find it online) ... although U6N Pro is available and much cheaper (~50k)
d. No real world check (all HiSense models seem to be sold only online, no offline availability for a demo)

Due to the rtings.com review and comparison (https://www.rtings.com/tv/tools/com...5n-vs-samsung-q60d-q60-q60dd-qled/50405/56341 ) I am still inclined towards HiSense but the Samsung just seems like a lower risk, no-nonsense option. Also, not sure how much the rtings.com article applies to Indian models and units (The Samsung reviewd on rtings.com is DU8000 but whats available in India is DU7700 or DU8300).

Edit:

On some more searching, came across TCL C755, which seems to be a pretty good alternative as well (to both Samsung and HiSense options). It seems to be same as the QM7 series on rtings.com for international market. And bonus points that it has availability and can also be seen as a demo unit (available offline in Croma)

You can get a Sony Bravia 2 for under 70k.
It would be endgame for a lot of people in your budget.
Also, LG Nanocell is good VFM at around 50k.

Buy from India's official online dealer!
