TV deal in Bangalore

Hello. I am looking into this for a family member. She has a budget of about 45K. Looking for a good size 40 upwards, HD sure, but 3D etc not required. I think she prefers LCD/LED due to what she has seen in the showrooms. However, a good plasma will also be fine (with my recommendation). Mostly to watch TataSky - SD and HD and the occasional DVD.
Would like to know if there are any good deals on at the moment - including free Blu Ray player etc. Any Brand is OK as long as the PQ is good. Thanks.

There is a good deal on in the Panasonic showroom. X50, 50 inches for Rs 50,000 he said. Not the XT series but X series. You could push it to 45-43 on hard bargaining. He said box piece not demo. But no freebies.

One thing that I keep coming across is that there are some "issues" about these Panasonic models X50 and XT50. Can someone tell me what these are so I can make a decision on whether to live with them or not. Thanks.
