Want to buy a 40-48inch LED.
Full HD/4K.
Don't need 3D at all.
Smart tv or not doesn't matter much.
Will be switched on for atleast 10-12hrs a day.S o power consumption is something to consider.
What matters is picture quality.
Especially up conversion of SD channels is the most important.
Refresh rate too doesn't matter as only GEC channels are played most of the time.
So IPS panel would be better considering its place of use which is little large with varied seating.
Good black levels will be a boon especially in this well lit area.
Little louder speakers desired (though not must) as will be used in noisy environment.
Longer the warranty (specifically on panel) the better. Ofcourse there is always extended warranty programme but that's not what iam asking for.
Not very brand conscious for this specific tv though can't help my inclination towards sony..
Did i miss anything? Oh ya ...size of the room? It's irrelevant as I dont want to go away from 40-48inch range.
