TV On Dealer Price

Hi All,

I am planning to buy 3D LED TV (40"-46")(Not looking for smart). I did check ebay & OLX found few vendors are selling Dubai model (F5500) around 40-44K with 1 year Dealer warranty.
can any one share their experience. is it OK to go for dealer warranty ?

Don't buy dealer warranty products!

Just as a hypothesis, imagine that you open the delivered box and find that the TV is defective or is a demo piece. Are you aware of the exact steps that you will be taking in this situation and the time/effort that you'll spend in resolving it?

For the same..
I had a talk with eBay seller and they said products are imported from gulf countries and all will come with delars warranty only. Reason they said tv vendors does not provide international warranty.
next day, I wrote to samsung that i am planning to import a tv from malaysia would you provide warranty here in india. Samsung replied (called me on my mobile), they said we donot provide any kind of warranty on gulf country imported products even we will not sold you extended warranty.
I ask them what about USA. thay replied it is applicable only for gulf countries tvs. For any kind of service you need to pay all charges..
Later, I asked eBay seller can you buy me a extended warranty for this i will pay you extra, they said we cannot since it is imported. I asked how do you provide warranty service they said they will send samsung service person to our place to repair and they will bear the cost. I didnot ask them further.. bcoz i felt like it is getting complex...
Just shared with you .... please take your own decision..

Thanks , I believe Dealer warranty is same like either you bring yourself from outside , or he brings. There is no warranty. He just deliver in your city. Rest same.
