TV vs Projector

Hi friends,

I am looking for a TV / Projector, can't figure out which is better.

Recently my Panasonic 40 inch LED tv panel died. Hence I started searching for a new TV but someone told me that a projector does all the works of a TV.

I mostly watch series on amazon prime, netflix etc and also use set top box used by family. The room where it will be installed would be well lit up.

Please answer:

1. Does any TV or projector comes with inbuilt channel search so that I donot have to pay every month for set top box ?

2. Which one is better in the budget of Rs.25000 (max) out of both TV & projector ?

While searching I found 'PIXPAQ Ellite (Japan) Projector 1080P' model for Rs.25000/- vs TVs like Mi or Xiomi of 43 inch. +

Please help.

Projector works better in a dedicated room. Given your requirement and budget I would recommend a TV

What does dedicated room means here, if you mean to say a room which has low light then if curtains are closed, it is darker else projectors with good leumen should do the job....

Around this budget, I would suggest looking for a TV. If you can find a used full HD projector, then it's good. Don't go for any Chinese projectors; they don't come with any warranty, so TV is a safe play.

Isn't 'PIXPAQ Ellite (Japan) Projector 1080P' not full HD ? Why is everyone suggesting TV instead of Projector, do they start giving problems soon as compared to TVs or anything else.

As I have read, they allow us to view in big screens, we can connect AV & pen drives & see all channels using internet apps on it, what else....?

But even if TVs are better (due to long life), then suggest one which is in my budget .....

PIXPAQ Elite has no warranty, but nowadays these projectors last longer than before so you should give it a try ( these projectors perform well in low lights so if you use normal curtains i don't think you will enjoy it . better to use black out curtains or blinds during the day ) . For used ones, you can check classified here or OLX.
