Bought my first LED TV from Panasonic in August 2011. Paid 38k for a 32 inch L32D25D which I believed will serve me well for many years like my previous TV in my family, a Sony 29 inch CRT which still is running without issues for the past 9 years.
Just 3 months after the warranty expired, sometime during Diwali last year the Panasonic will not power ON. After numerous phone calls and emails to Panasonic Customer Care they agreed to repair the TV free of cost as I had been using the TV without a stabilizer as directed by them in their user manual and a power fluctuation had fried out the P Board as diagnosed by the Panasonic Technician.
Bought a Stabilizer and fast forward to Feb 2013, just after 3 months my TV was repaired, my Panasonic has stopped working again. Does not POWER ON and gives me 4 blinking LED. I have taken up this matter with Panasonic and its now I have released the gravity of this infamous "Blinking Power Light of Death". There are numerous reports of Panasonic TV having NO POWER issues across the globe on the internet. Just a search of "Panasonic Vierra No Power" brings up numerous cases of No Power issues being faced with Panasonic Vierra TV.
I have not abused the TV and it still looks brand new with not a single scratch on it. I regret the buy and should have bought a SONY or SAMSUNG.
