Upgrading my 5.1 speakers

Hello Guys,

Just joined the forums today after reading some helpful threads.

I was hoping you guys could help me out on picking my next 5.1 speakers.

I'm currently using Logitech X-540 hooked up to my on-board sound card via 3.5mm jacks. (GIGABYTE GA-H87M-D3H LGA 1150)

As I've been looking at other 5.1 speakers, I noticed that most of them use RCA connectors.
- Would it be possible to get true 5.1 sound using 3 RCA to 3.5mm cables to my on-board sound card?

Here are my current choices:
XENON AX-1900 SPEAKER
Sonic Gear Titan Theatre 7
Eacan A-100
Devant DV-5160
