Usb Cable but optical

Recently came across below article, when i was googling related to usb noise.
Never knew that a usb cable can be inherently optical aswell.

curious to know if anybody uses it.
and more even how it could compare to a usb reclocker.

I use one that I bought at Amazon of not any popular brand. It made a difference but definitely not day/night kind and of course, can’t replace a reclocker. But for me change was good enough to replace the regular cable. The brand, if I remember correctly, was Cosemi. A 10ft cable costed $60.

Those who have seen my thread on Ethernet isolation removing copper from the chain by replacing it by fiber optic, since the time I got benefited by this, have been eying on hybrid USB cables where data lines use fiber optics instead of copper wire. I tried the one today and yes, my apprehensions were true. The performance is at next level now. System is sounding more clean and focussed. Below is what I got.
