I recently bought Samsung D6000 TV with which I got a Samsung LA22D404 TV which is a 20" TV. One problem I face is that the USB is not getting recognized by the TV. I tried rechecking the ports etc but still it's not recognizing the USB.
Any help guys?

Not sure of the TV specs but going by experience...

- See if the USB is compatible. I had a DVD player that would take only USB 1.1. Sometime, the TV will not accept USBs above a certain storage limit
- See if the USB format is compatible. Some TVs maybe able to read only FAT and not NTFS

I have two pen drives one which is 4 GB and the other 8 GB. Finally I was able to have a display when I connected a 8 GB pen drive however the on screen display when I connect the Pen drive has only three options.
Music
Photos
Settings

I don't see any option or menu for playing video. I was able to play some audio songs. How can I check if this has capability of playing Videos.

@ Andy:
Did you try different usb drives..
I would suggest go for Pen Drives, USB HDDs with both FAT 32, NTFS.. also check if Self powered USB HDDs and unpowered ones switch makes any difference..

Bro, firstly I need to figure out if this model has support to play Videos. Since it's not showing me any option for Video I doubt it. I have two pen drives which I already checked and also one USB HDD.

Ok .. can you give the model number for the TV.. may be i can check.. more eyes are always helpful for the search

I dont think It would do you any good Andy.. unless they are Active speakers .. These TVs have almost no amplification, Such beautiful picture quality is coupled with a lousy 10W speaker..:(

Guys I'm posting some pics from the TV rear end which has the ports. Wanted to check if I can connect any external speakers to this TV? The one's built in the TV are pathetic.
