I recently found this 60w per channel vaani 120 amplifier, since I am not so knowledgable with electronics can someone tell me if this amp is worth its cheap price.
The internals of the amp looks properly designed but looks can be deceiving sometimes.I already own a marant z integrated amplifier which I use in my living room. This amp is for desktop use and was originally planning to get a smsl amp from China but if this vaani amp is good I will go for this.

If all you need is a good low power stereo amp, buy a TDA7294 or 7293 kit or a LM3875 kit from Ebay. Should cost less than Vaani and possibly sound better ( this is just a guess!). The 7294 and 3875 sound very good. I prefer the TDA7294. The LM3875 seems to have slightly deeper LF . Never checked why this was so . Maybe a capacitor related issue. But then you need a chassis, transformer and power supply and volume control.
Your suggested (vaani) amp is complete ! No more hassles for you.
It's Plug and Play ! :)
As it's for desktop use, it needn't be too critical. So from that point of view it seems OK ! Possibly will sound decent too.
