I will be moving to a new home next month. I am thinking of installing a Video Door Phone but I am confused. I would like to get a feedback from people who have already installed Video Door Phones.
What kind of basic advantages will it offer me?
Is it really a necessity?
What points should I keep in mind while buying a Video Door Phone?

Using a video door phone, you can see and talk to a visitor without the necessity to open the door.
It is useful especially when ladies or children are alone at home.
Basicaly it is a safety device that provides additional safety compared to normal "magic eye" that is fitted on the doors.
