Probably. All legit and other website plants cookies, have access to you IP etc. etc. I have Norton 360 which is good antivirus I think. So far no problem. It alerts when someone tries to copy or upload files or is trying to access my computer. On the web there are website which advise if any website is safe or not. Proxysite seems safe.
