Want a DD turntable

If you go with any Technics direct drive in good condition (the versions with s-shaped tone arms), you will never be sorry. My old SL3200 is still going strong and sounding great, while on duty on my brother's rig. At the other end, you have the SP10 which is the ultimate direct drive turntable, without doubt, one of the very best of all time.

+1 with reubensm on SP10

vmscbe1974 , whichever Technics you buy ensure the DD is Quartz lock to get a constant pitch control, it has S-shaped tonearm (unless its SP10/SP15/SP25) and it is not automatic. The automatic Technics has its own fair share of issues in Indian conditions.

I too strongly reckon a Technics DD with an S-shaped arm. Nothing to beat these work horses and their fidelity. Yeah, nothing like getting your hands on a 1200/1210 as these are just superb. Cheers...
