Hi! I think I have narrowed down my quest for music to this combination.
Can anyone please tell me how much should I be paying for

Wharfedale Diamond 9.1
Norge 2060

Also I just found this site http://vksound.com/index.php/product/index/27 quoting about 15K (on phone without any bargaining) for edifier s550. How does that measure up?

Also where in Hyderabad can I find them? Delhi is also an option since I am going there next week. Can pick the up.

also rather getting and edifier for 15k
get a logi z-5500 for 16.5k

edifier only advantage is the passive sub rather than a ported one

however logi sub is more reponsive than that of the edifier and
edifier are purely analog speakers.
logi got onboard dts decoding and diigital coax and optical in.

also logi are almost twice as powerful.
however decision is urs give them a hear and see what pleases u

I would say stay away from 10.1/10.2 but go for 9.2 with Norge 2060 - even if youy couple the set with a Pioneer 610 - the entire system would be pretty sweet for the price.

The 10 series was complete hogwash IMHO - but there are takers anway.

Also the Norge can be shipped from Mumbai for 7.5k + shipping.

good for a smallish room - honestly will never be loud. Good resolution and perfect VFM combo still seems a little lacking at least with the CA s30. Dont know about the first combo though.

I had gone to vectors about 2 weeks back...cud not listen to 9.1/9.2 .They have no stock..It seems they only get them against orders...In fact, I wanted to listen to the same setup that you want...I did hear the 10.1 and the 10.5 which they had..So in case you are able to arrange for a demo anywhere in Hyd, look me up..I'd be very interested....

Thats the kind of answer I got lately when I asked for 10.7. They expect me to Order speakers even without an audition.

Hi Amit,

Since you are from mumbai, why don't you visit the Norge Factory in Mahim & check out the difference between the 2060 & the 1000, plus their speakers?

I own a 2060, find its output more than sufficient & I too have a 'L' shaped area. Have paired my amp with more powerful speakers (upwards of 150 w to 400w) & have found it to provide good juice to power them & make them sound great, so no 2 doubts about the quality of sound from the norge amp. VFM is another trump card of Norge...

So go & check the amps out & decide which one works for you.

The 2060 norge & 9.2 wharfies combo is a tried & tested one by quite a few members here who find the 2060 & 9.2's to be a perfect match. So go for it!!!
