What enhancements for a 10 year old Ertiga ZXi?

Hi All

Apologize if this is under the wrong header..if so, pls move.

My Ertiga ZXI will turn 10 soon. I live in Bangalore and rarely drive inside the city. I have clocked less than 30K kms in this period.

My knowledge of cars is pretty limited and frankly I dont take care of the car much either. Yearly service is all it gets from Mandovi from whom I bought the car. It stands on the road in front of my road fully exposed to sun as I am too lazy to cover it.

Even washing - I may wash it say once a quarter. Since it rains a lot in Bangalore, I let nature do my job.

With this kind of record, what enhancements can I do so that its safe enough to drive for another 5 years, by when I am hoping we will get a 5 star safety rated Ertiga Electric for 15 lacs!!

During my Goa trip earlier this year, had a puncture and the repair guy looked at the tyres and said even though u havent driven much, it has aged and I need to replace. Did ask a question in one of the other threads that time and they had recommended Yokohoma I think.

So, please advice me on

(a) Tyres definitely will change this year...What brand of tyre and what model please? No experience on tyre shopping. So I buy online or check out few shops in say JC Road which is the auto hub of BLR
(b) Some kind of a paint/Waxing job?
(c) Given its out in the sun all the time, thinking of having govt approved tint film - 30% of whatever it is legal

Apart from some blue LED near front seat legs. and a roof rack which is rusting at some places, car is pretty STOCK. No enhancements whatever. So what else should I change please apart from above

1. Tyres need to be changed every 4 years or 40k kms. Thats the average thumb rule applicable to most cars in India. Yokohama Earth1 are a very good compromise for our road conditions for comfort and grip.
2. Yes visit the closest 3M outlet and ask them for a wax and polish. Evaluate what they recommend. Also, get the under body paint protection done.
3. No Tint is Legal. If you have managed without them for 10 years, you dont need them.
4. You can get led emblem on the running board at max. But this is a personal choice. I find it too tacky.
5. You can upgrade the Music System, seat covers, add some carpets which trap dust and water.

Thanks. Will def get the tyres in Dec. I am a sucker for screens and whenever I see the Xuv 700A series LED Screens or even the screens that most new cars come with...kinda get depressed. Searched on Amazon and no good options. So managed to buy this via netherlands. Landed in hyd..yet to get my hands on it.

Will also visit 3M.. not sure how much they charge..but am sure can be justified

Also, since you are from BLR, how does one normally buy tyres? Like in my case ask Mandovi to replace during annual servicing? buy online? go to JC road? Not sure how much bargaining happens in tyre buying.

Amazon seems cheapest..plus I get 5% ICICI card discount and some more discount on cashkaro. no risk buying with them?

Completely remove the dashboard and get ac and it's fan motor fully serviced and gas recharged or fully changed. Use branded gas.
Will make ac cooling very good
Cosmetic improvement i think many have given you good suggestions.
