What is the best budget HT setup? Please

Hello ALL / Experts,

I have very little / no knowledge on music equipments at all. Hence, writing here for guidance, please.

My budget is about 60K. Please provide me with some information on AV receivers and speakers (HT), please.

Sound is good according to individual taste. Some may love heavy bass, some may love midrange vocals, some may love highs.<br />

Yamaha / Marantz have very soft sound.<br />
Sony / Pioneer / Denon have very brittle sound.<br />
<br />
I strongly suggest while you to take demos, listen to same song/movie clip, and let your ears judge the difference.

I do have a BD / DvD player at home already. That has got just one HDMI output - now connected to the television.

Could I purchase AV and speakers and connected those to the current DvD player at home?

I am right now referring to PRO FX website and see too many options in AV and Speakers segment.

I am just not sure which brands are good and fit in 60K / 70K (confused):sad:

I would recommend that you split your money between a speaker and two book shelf speakers only. You can add the other things later on. If you buy a 5.1 setup with your budget, you may get poorer quality products.

Remember, two bad speakers sound worse than two good speakers, but 5 bad speakers would sound much worse that 2 bad speakers.

i second smedhavi, get bookshelves and avr now, rest later
