What voltage stabilizer for Led TV?

I have recently purchased an LG 42 LE5300.Since there is a huge voltage fluctuation in my house(even the cieling fan speed varies with the voltage available),I feel a voltage stabilizer is essential,which one would be suitable for LED TVs?.Thanks.

Will my old CVT work? This is lying idle since I started using UPS on my computers.

I think it is rated for 500VA.

My friend, who is into retail, wholesale, assembling and networking of IT products said that an offline UPS (the commonly used ones), will not work as well as a CVT or servo for rectification of current and voltage. Also they may not prevent surges or spikes. Is this correct? I had planned to install a 600VA APC UPS (About Rs. 2300/- or so) with my 46HX800 setup.

An online UPS will cost 4-5 times as much.

A surge suppressor + CVT is the best option for LED. And since you already have 500 VA CVT, all you need it a surge suppressor.

Get a Balkin Suppressor, it comes with insurance for equipments.

I believe you only need a decent surge suppressor. Most of the current LCD TVs have built in stabilizer so no need for a CVT which may actually distort the power source unnecessarily.

If it is just voltage fluctuation like you said for your fan (surge will either burn the fan winding or will not be apparent on the fan), you need not worry as the TV should compensate well for it.

Thats is incorrect none of the lcds have a stabilizer,all they have is a SMPS power supply.
