Where to Buy Amp in Singapore?

Aplha Audio Pte Ltd. 1 Rochor Canal Road #01-48, Sim Lim Square S'pore.. Best place to buy AV products... I am not sure but I guess by paying a little extra you get international warranty... I got mine without it... Still working fine... 7004 should be around 20-25 k INR.

Other than Sim Lim, Alpha audio has two outlets in Adelphi Mall - next to City Hall MRT / Funan Digital mall. Both outlets at Adelphi are well stocked with latest models for Marantz. Look out for Richard at Alpha - Adelphi for reasonale pricing.
Adephi Mall specializes in medium - hi end audio gear. You can have a better choice ( than Sim Lim) just in case you want to have options.
I can check with Alpha for pricing on Monday if it is ok. Let me know if you need any further info.

Just checked with Richard at Alpha. Marantz PM7004 is around SGD 750.

Am in Singapore this week.
Looking to Buy Marantz CDP & Stereo Amp. Where can I get this? Is Sim Lim shops reliable? Any outlets that you recommmend ( few of you have mentioned Alpha Adelphi). Also came across KEC Sound and Vision on the net. Is it good? Also can we get international warranty on these products.

This is however for Hi End Hi Fi.
Maybe Sim Lim Towers of the shops in Sim Lim Square, ground floor will offer lower end products. Watch out, the Salespeople at Sim-Lim are notorious, often quote High prices and seem to bad mouth Indians. I have stopped going there.
Bargains in Singapore ? I dont that is possible. Their Currency and prices are so high, I doubt if ANYTHING in Singapore is a bargain.
Better to go to Malaysia instead...

I dont think you can save much. You can save only if some offer/sale is going on.
the marantz pm6004 and tannoy FS package given in the link provided by IndianEars is cheaper in india as compared to the price mentioned in singapore.
Further you will need to pay custom duty also. Also consider you get warranty if you buy from your home country.

I suggest you first check the amplifier pricing for the particular make / model to your liking in India and when you land here just go around to Adelphi mall at City Hall ( MRT station) and check the pricing offerred at Alpha audio at Level 2. Ask for Richard. ( no affiliations!) I suppose you will be able to take a call once you get this info here at Singapore. It will be just a 10-15 minutes of your time.
In my past taps for some of our HFVians I found the pricing here was 20-25% lower compared to the pricing back home provided you are able to sneak thru the customs!
I agree at sim lim you don't get treated well and all chances of getting cheated!

the adelphi coleman street near the cityhall is the place to buy audio, i have bought headphones from the jaben shop on the top floor. but the pricing of projectors were not worth buying when i was in singapore last year.
i have seen singaporeans cross the border go to johor bahru to do shopping and beauty treatments as they are cheaper in malaysia.
