I've a Sony Bravia 43'' inch TV[KDL-43W950C] which seems to have conked off after a service of more than 10 years. It is not powering on. Checked the power brick - it is delivering the required voltage. [I'll try to get this repaired as I don't get any ads on Youtube on this TV! And I spend more time watching Youtube content compared to all other apps put together]

But anyway I've started looking for replacement and do not want to spend much. Besides this will be a temporary solution as a living room TV for now. I'll be moving to a new place in couple of months and I intend use this as bedroom TV.

Looks like I can't get a Sony under 30K. I saw few models of Samsung, LG, TCL and MI but can't decide which one to buy.

My criteria [considering I'm coming from 10 year old Sony Bravia]:
- TV Should be sufficiently bright with good viewing angles for living room.
- TV OS should be reliable as I don't like to use other TV boxes/remotes [Sony OS though slow has been reliable so far].
- Don't really care much about 4K content. As long as HD contents are good and satellite TV content is rendered well - it is enough.
- If we can pair BT Headhpones that would be great - but I guess none of the TVs offer that option.

Shortlist:
Looks like only TCL offers QLED in this price range. I liked this model : 43C655 on Amazon. But I also read that TCLs do not offer good viewing angles [I remember seeing a big TCL TV at my friend's place and the display looked dull - and it was probably due to viewing angle].

Please help me with your suggestions!

Thanks! :)

Since you are a long term, happy Sony Bravia user, expanding the budget a bit and going for the current Bravia in that size might be a better option. A few months ago I was buying a 43 incher for my sister for her compact living room. Had a similar budget (30k) in mind. But after comparing all the options at Vijay Sales across brands, realised nothing came even close to Bravia - the colours, the vibrance, the sound, Google TV… everything combined. It was difficult to settle for anything else, so raised the budget and bought it (around Rs 42k or so, might be cheaper now with festive schemes). It puts a smile on our faces when we watch it. Makes the premium worth.

Thank you for your suggestion. I'll visit showrooms to check out some models in person.

A beautiful, well-constructed speaker with class-leading soundstage, imaging and bass that is fast, deep, and precise.
