Hi All,
I have to buy a 32" LED TV. My budget is around 30-35K. I have zeroed down on these three models.
1. Samsung 32F5100 Joy series (Full HD, Resolution 1,920 x 1,080 )
2. LG 32LN5400 (Full HD, Resolution 1920x1080 Pixels)
3. LG 32LN571B (HD Smart , Resolution 1366 x 768, Wi-Fi built in)

Can you please suggest? I am really confused.
Note: I had almost selected on Samsung then I noticed the LED panel was heated up in the store. That scared me!I also read some online reviews which mentioned this issue too. Also the store guy said that LG has better screen panel than Samsung. But being a Samsung fan, I am not able to decide.
Please help!

Purchased LG32LN571B last week. Got it at 33500 after (nego) from LG Showroom. Liked the smart features as well and picture quality is also good.

Okk Thanks. :) Can you please tell which other models and brands did you finalize in last stages and what made you opt for this? How abt Samsung?

Hi,
Welcome to the forum. I am not going to put my comments favoring any brand. As a golden rule and best practice never get yourself overwhelmed by the catchy 'SMART' features. Simply connect a smart phone or a laptop through HDMI or WIFi and see that your dumb TV turns smart at once.
Better spend time selecting TVs offering the best picture and audio quality at your price point. Take a look at a plasma and see the PQ it delivers that no LED could match.
Out of LG and Samsung..the LG sports a IPS(In Plane Switching) panel that support viewing from a large angle. IPS panel are hardy by nature also and offer rich color rendition. Samsung have VA (Vertically Aligned) panel which has a limited viewing angle but provide relatively better contrast ratios.
Also a Full HD is of no use for a 32 inch TV when your viewing distance is more than 5 ft. A HD ready TV will suffice the need very easily and you can save a lot of your hard earned money by the way.
So use your prudent cognizance before the final buy. Best of luck

I did not look at other brands and found lg better at pricing as i wanted a tv for my home in nasik and faced problems with other brands tvs previously....i dint go the plasma way because its a fading technology and may cause problems in future parts availability.....many may disagree....but seeing the decrease in plasma manufacturers....i did not want to try it....however the pq of plasma is stunning...finally its upto you as to which brand...see the difference for yourself compare the tvs u listed and see which suits your need. If smart tv and many features are not on ur priority list......take a look at sony ...not that sony lacks features but it comes at a slightly higher price....if smart tv is a must then you may look at lg, samsung, panasonic

I recommend you to go for Samsung or Sony FULL HD with smart features and do consider to spend extra 5K - 8K that way you can get top models in 32" segment.

All the best :)
