Hi
I am planning to buy a new LED TV.
My requirements are...
1.Around 42-46"
2.Non 3D and No smart features
3.Full HD
4.Full LED Backlit with possiblity of local dimming
5.DLNA connectivity is optional
6.No preference for particular brand

I am having Dish HD DTH and presently having Samsung 32" LCD TV
I will like to spend 50K but if the TV is really worthy then can strech it to 70K!

Thanks

Dear avm..
Thanks for yr reply.
Plasma is not my choice because
1.Very well lit Hall
2.being living in small Town of BHARAT,load shedding is regular so need a TV which can run on Inverter with not much laod

+1 to avmaxfan..............will be hard to beat the awesome picture quality of UT50 or ST30 in LED tv's in the same price range. Can you use thick curtains in the living room for the bright sunlight?

Ya curtains can be used but other problem of frequent power cuts that makes watching plasma on inverter is a difficult thing.( I don't know exactly how extra plasma consumes power than led tvs but going by what I read on various blogs,LEDs are less power hungry)

If you have frequent and long power outages, then you should go with LED. But be sure to invest in surge protector such as the Gold Series from Belkin. Because power when broken and restored is often accompanied by voltage dips/surges.

As far as recommended TV, Sony 40EX650 or Samsung 5/6 Series may fall in your budget easily.
