The area where this system is being installed is a Living Room (11 feet X 14 feet) opening onto a deck (9 feet X 16 feet). It is a pure audio setup and only soft music (nothing loud) is required. No serious listening but more of something playing in the background.

Amplifier and CD Player combined:
Already bought Marantz M-CR603

Now I need 2 pairs of speakers: One pair indoor (Slim speakers are preferred) and one pair outdoor and I have 3 choices as below:

1. ProFX - KEF T Series: A pair of T101 for Indoor Rs28000 KEF International
Polk Audio Atrium 4 for Outdoor Rs15000 Polk Audio - Atrium Series - The Speaker For All Seasons

2. Designer Audio - Wharfedale RS10 pair for Indoor Rs24000 Moviestar 60+ Super
Wharfedale Neptune 100 pair for Outdoor Rs14000 Neptune

3. Lakozy - Deftech Mythos Gem pair for Indoor Rs35000 Definitive Technology - Mythos Gem
Deftech AW5500 pair for Outdoor Rs25000 Definitive Technology - AW5500

I have heard all the above combos but in different settings. Deftech I am not finding worth the extra money though their outdoor speakers are excellent. Only thing is that the Amplifier does not have much power and I feel that the AW5500 is overkill for the outdoor deck. Wharfedale and Polks both have equally adept outdoor speakers and I would take the outdoor speaker based on what is best for Indoor, sticking to one vendor. So it boils down to KEF T101 vs Wharfedale RS10 vs Deftech Mythos Gem.

Have any of you heard the speakers above? Would like views and suggestions on the models.

Thanks

I have heard the Monitor Audio Bronze series and they in consideration for my Home Theater along with KEF Q and PSB Image and Quads.

However for this room which is mostly casual listening, I want something discreet. However I want something better than Bose cubes or tiny satellites with 2.3-3" Mid range. Hence considering the new KEF T series and Wharfedale RS10, both of which are very slim.

Hi Raghav

Could you share your views/feedback on M-CR603 and what speakers you bought to pair with the same.

Regards, Amit
