Hi All,

I am plannig to buy a LED. However of the above 2 models when checking the feature both these television are not Full HD and Display is stated as WXGA. Need to understand what does that mean. If I go with any of the above 2 models will I be able to subscribe to the HD channel as provided by the DTH operators.
Also please help which of the above will be good to go with.

Hi Buddy,
As you observed rightly that both of the two models are not Full HD but WXGA - means they are having 1366x768 pixel matrix which is often termed as HD Ready.

Regarding your query on whether they support HD feeds- The answer is in affirmative. HD ready TVs are capable of displaying Full HD signal.

If you stick to SONY, then W600 is the better of the two owing to the following reasons-
1) Better video processor XReality PRO
2) Better frame rate (Motionpro XR200)
3) Edge Lit Panel compared to Direct LED in KLV R402A
4) Better Media format support via USB
5) Better smart features like WIFI support

The point against W600 is that it is too pricey for the features it provides. Keep the following options open in front of you while hunting for a TV at Sub 40K level.
1) Samsung 32F5000 - non frills Full HD
2) Panasonic 32E6D - Full HD (Highly recommended by HIFI vision members)
3) Toshiba Cricket Series

Happy TV hunting

Hi Swarna,

Thanks for the detailed provided in very short time. As you have rightly mentioned that Sony TV are bit pricey.. but I am able to get the above model (W600A) for around 30K and the other model (32R402A)at around 22K. Which one would you suggest then.

From whichever source you are picking the set please ensure that you are getting an extended warranty from the company and not from the dealer. Also confirm that you are getting a fresh piece and not a demo one.

Again W600A is worth the extra penny in my opinion.
