I am waiting for my ST50 to arrive. It has wifi built in like many topend TVs today. I want to know if it is possible to connect the STB (if so which?) to my wireless router and stream it onto the TV so that no cable (HDMI/Component/Composite) goes in/out from the TV? Is it possible? If yes, has anyone tried it? If not, why not?

Thanks in advance.

IMO no! Unless you find other way, your tv accepts stream and it seems go to WiFi only for Internet access. I may be wrong but stb are not streaming to WiFi. Max good output connection from stb is HDMI only.

I don't think that at present STB has the functionality to stream over wired or wireless networks. There is a question of HDCP and DRM also. Perhaps in future ...

This is not right solution, but you can connect device called sling tv to stb and receive data from network/internet. Not tried practically!
