Wireless HDMI kit ?

Has anyone here tried using Asus WiCast EW2000 or any other similar wireless HDMI kit ?

I am interested in -

Is this a good option to buy where my source is about 8 meters from my display?

is wired option not possible at all? since that is the most reliable and cost effective way of this route.

I was thinking of buying a no name HDMI cable for this distance but this seemed like a nice option too and so I was wondering.

If anyone is using this and happy with it, then I'll opt for the wireless option. If not, I'll obviously use an HDMI cable.
