I think it is a bargain, hoping some discounts on MRP.
If you try such big screen with matching brightness with a projector, you would end up spending similar amount.

I dont think so, the new high end JVC LCOS based projectors will offer better pic at that size than any flat panel display. They cost around 5k dollars after discount.

At least the 2013 model High end LED & Plasma TV's should have 4k support, as 4k is the way to the future.

have you seen that in action in daylight in an average living room which is not turned into a dark room? I will love to buy it if it can beat a TV in such conditions. Also, wiring etc are not easy for a projector. I got only one wire in my ceiling conduit and I will have to get everything broken open again if that cable fails, or gets outdated.

Even 55 OLED TV will not cost 11k$ !!! Total waste of money. You can get good 4k projector for that price.

It works very well even in average light condition but in a living room with day light i don't think so.
