Xperia z5 premium or Samsung s7 edge

Hi People,

I am not sure whether it is the right place to post about mobiles but still I need your help.

I am in a dilemma that what to be bought with these two models.
If anyone of us has any experience with these two models please comment here.

I need to buy one of these mobiles in next 2 days.

S7 edge. The only thing you can compare the s7 to is the iphone 6s honestly.
Consider the s7 as a s6 with all its flaws corrected. Its a great device.
The sony z5 didnt really wow me for a device that expensive.

One important thing to note between S6 Edge and S7 Edge.

If the display / touchscreen / digitizer breaks.

In S6 Edge it is fixable but in S7 Edge it is not as the display is fused to body and non-removable.

So by all means keep that in mind, displays break all times.

Samsung for sure.

FWIW, I don't like their bloatware and have gone all pure Android with Motorola and Nexus, but between the two I'd pick Samsung.

You should also consider HTC, they make some excellent smartphones.

Wont take 6 months to go out dated and make you regret the purchase, so avoid wasting money nokia 3310 any1.
Jokes apart avoid buying a phone if the screen is non replaceable as sm1 suggested above..

Sir what are your main requirements?
Also I would vote for sony as their software expiriance is better and more uniform.
Otherwise the Samsung is slightly more feature rich.

Avoid anything with SD 810 cpu. They overheat like crazy.

Even I had the same feeling that S7 Edge definitely stands out. But the thing is that I have an offer of 40K for the Z5 Premium and S7 Edge costs 55K.

I just want to confirm with you all about spending extra 15K makes advantage or not.

@AVCrazy: My requirement is simply a high end mobile which should come for at-least 2 year from now.

Sir you are paying the premium for the best camera out there, an absolutely gorgeous screen, audio output that surpasses even the generally awesome iphones and for quick charge.
If the above is not important to you, you should get yourself a oneplus2 and save on a lot of money.

Thanks for the feedback. The features whatever you mention defines a high-end smart phone. A high-end smart phone should have good screen resolution and camera quality, processors, Ram management and obviously build quality.

And I got your point spending a lot money on smart phones. This is one time investment for next 2 years. If not a branded one then I would have gone to One plus X.

If you like and insist on S7 Edge, better spend few more money on mobile insurance.
Not sure if Samsung protection plus is available in india.

Out of the 2, I will go with S7 anyday ! I had the S3 from 2013, its still working like a charm(touchwood). Finally got bored and got an iPhone 6s. I was going to buy samsung s6 in Dec, but changed my mind and bought the iPhone 6s.
Only thing i dislike about Samsung is the bloatware which they install making an otherwise fast phone a slow one ! I think the TouchWiz UI makes the phone slow !
If you have the budget get the S7 edge. The display is too good to resist !
