Yamaha 299 or Onkyo 3500

okay friends kindly clear which one to buy i saw some reviews regarding the onkyo 3500 that its get heated in just 10-15 minutes but sound output is awesome and yamaha 299 is also good but SQ is lower than onkyo, so please suggest.

Brother I am searching for AVR and i think JBL cinema bd300 is a bluray player. Can i connect that with my d2h hd for 5.1 clarity
