I am using Yamaha aventage 1010 as av receiver. I m using wharfedale obsidian 600 is the 5.0 speaker package. My av receiver can give output of 7.1. But till now I am using 5.0 setup only. I ll upgrade the surround speakers shortly. My LG 50 inch plasma did a very good role. I am using measy x5 3d media player with 2tb hdd for play musics, movies. This player os awesome. It doing the jobs very well.

I am searching good rear surround speakers for 7.1. Now i am using wharfedale obsidian 600. It is 6ohm impedance speakers. It realy doing their jobs well. My doubt is can i connect 8 ohm impedance speakers for rear surrounding. And also i m little bit confusion of bipolar and dipolar surround speakers. Which one is the best one? Thanks for ur views

WHARFEDALE DFS BIPOLAR can be good for rear surrounds.

hi Arvin, i'm looking at buying the Aventage 1010 or 820. How much did you pay for your receiver?

I bought it for Rs 52000. I think yamaha 1010 will be the best suitable.

Can any one suggest which rear surround speaker will deliver good? Bipolar vs dipoles? Wharfedale dfs vs definitive technology bipolar?
