Yamaha htr 3067 making tik tik sound after switching on

HI guys,
i have yamaha yht 2910 as i was out i didnt use my ht system over 2 months but i tried to switch on now its making a tik tik sound continuesly .help out guys please why its happening?

It must be the relay that can not switch.

Please carry to co service center.

Better don't power it on till the problem is found and fixed by them.

Guys It suddenly started working so do i still have to go to service center ?

Well since we both have the same model, God forbid if I were you I wud've put it to heavy use over the next few days to see if there is any real issue..Something similar happened to me once and all I did was a factory reset ...Maybe it was static or some charge on the board that sorted itself out and if anyone thinks there might be a real issue im sure they will be kind enough to advise for the SC visit.

Hi,

If there is current fluctuations in electric supply, I would recommend use of a spike guard board which will trip with power surges.

Secondly prolonged use of any electrical generate heat and hence put some cooling fan for the avr if required.

I keep mine in the open and hence no heating issues even after 4 hours of continous use at loud volumes.
