I recently took a demo of these speakers but i didn't like the output quality.. i liked the other version Yamaha NS 8390 which is with less price then these speakers & also quality output. If you have budget, go for Yamaha NS 555/777

I think your Yamaha Rx679 deserves better speakers than the one you are referring to, so look out for Wharfadales or Dali Ikons or similar kind of speakers in your price range.

Thanks dear. Later I changed my mind and bought Denon X1200 alongwith JBL 270 floor standing speakers.

Strictly average these are, not the worst but nothing to really praise as well.
