Yamaha RX-V3800 receiver

Hi All,

Would like to understand how good (I know this is subjective) is the Yamaha RX-V3800. I think it is discontinued model.

I came to know about used one (may be one year old), what can be best price to get for?

This is for 30'x11' room. Yet to buy/decide speakers for this living cum drawing room.

Gurus - please help me.

i think you need to establish an overall plan of what you want to buy / for what purpose (music or video) / budget etc before you go in for this amp

Mostly it will be for movies. Less music. Budget less than 1 lac.

i suggest you first choose the speakers that you would like to go with and then if the rx v3800 fits in to the plan you can look at it. the wharfedale diamonds is on of the most obvious choices. if youre buying a sub as well then i suggest bookshelves for fronts as well
